Main Course Studies

Studies at the College include military and academic training and education,
which are conducted in parallel, from the respective chairs under the Directorate of
Studies: the Military Studies Chair and the Academic Studies Chair.

The Military Studies Chair is responsible for :

  • The preparation, coordination and conduct of training on matters of joint
    operational planning and joint doctrines.
  • The preparation, coordination and conduct of exercises, in cooperation
    with HNDGS, to ensure practical application of the theoretical training
    provided.
  • The preparation and conduct of courses and war games, to be performed
    by the college in addition to its educational work.

The Academic Studies Chair is responsible for:

  • The preparation, coordination, and provision of training in the academic
    field of international relations, international law, strategy, and
    international organisations.
  • The preparation, coordination, and provision of training on matters of
    leadership and directorship, decision making, crisis management, and
    negotiation theory and techniques.
  • The preparation, coordination, and provision of training on matters of
    communication skills.

The training is conducted with both on-campus and online courses.

Teaching Staff

Academic Staff

Academic lessons in the College are taught by academic personnel of
Hellenic Universities, cooperating with the College on the organisation of joint
postgraduate programmes or on the conduct of individual actions, as specified in
MOUs between the College and Academic institutions.

Military Education Staff

The College’s military education staff consists of instructors and
supervisors of Training Teams, which are formed by the students of every training
class.

Guest Speakers

Distinguished guest speakers also have a complementary role at the students’
education. They are :

  • Academics.
  • Diplomats from Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Active duty or retired General Officers.
  • High – ranking personnel of the public or private sector.
