From Monday, 20 to Friday 24 April 2026, the course “PM²: Project Management in support of CSDP Missions and Operations” was co-organized by the Hellenic Supreme Joint War College and the State Bureau for Training, Further Education and Personnel of the North Rhine-Westphalian Police Service (LAFP) under the auspices of the European Security and Defense College (ESDC).
The course was held in Thessaloniki, on the premises of the War Museum.
The objective of the course was to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of CSDP missions and operations using in practice the aforementioned methodology. The PM² methodology was developed by the European Commission to enable project managers to deliver solutions and benefits to their organizations by effectively managing the entire life cycle of their projects.
A total of twenty-three (23) Officers and Civilians from Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Romania and Spain were participated at the course program.
The course was successfully completed and all participants received the required certification from the European Security and Defence College (ESDC).
