On Monday, February 02 2026, the Hellenic Supreme Joint War College (HSJWC) change of command took place, in the presence of the Commanding General of Supreme Military Command of Epirus and Macedonia/NRDC-GR, Lieutenant General Grigorios Bountliakis as a representative of the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis, with Major General Emmanouil Tsakanias assuming command from Lieutenant General (Ret.) Michail Ploumis.
The ceremony was honored with the presence of representatives of the religious, political and military authorities of the city.
