PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The Hellenic National Defense General Staff (also called herein as “Data Controller”), which is based in Mesogeion 227-231, 15561, Holargos, Athens, according to the provisions of the applicable legislation on personal data and the provisions of the Regulation(EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (also called herein as “GDPR”), informs the natural person (“Data Subject”) who signs this declaration, of the following:

Α. TYPE OF DATA:

• E – mail address
• Phone Number
• Fullname
• Country, City, Zip Code
• Rank, Graduation Year

Β. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING AND PERIOD OF RETENTION

The Data Controller processes the above personal data exclusively for the purpose of providing information on issues/matters of mutual interest (1. maintaining relationship via digital communication, eg sharing info about Alumni, invitations to conferences, reunions, events in the Greek Embassies, School newsletters, 2. (sharing info for scientific purproses: eg historical, statistical research). The above data will be accessible and processed only by the authorized personnel of Data Controller, who will process the personal data solely for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes and by no means for their own benefit. The above data will be kept and processed for as long as it is required for the serving of the aforementioned processing purposes. After the aforementioned time period, Data Controller will proceed to the definite deletion of the personal data.
